Obituary for Isaac Clark Jr.
Isaac Carlton Clark Jr., was born January 8, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Isaac C. Clark Sr., and Ruby M. Clark. He was affectionately known to many as “Gus” and “Ike”.
Isaac was educated in the Atlanta Public School System and graduated from C.L. Harper High School in the Class of 1974. Isaac later went on to serve in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.
Isaac enjoyed baseball, and his talent in the sport led him to play for a minor-league team. As a child, Isaac watched his father work for the railroad company for many years. This admiration fostered a love for trains in him, and he too went on to work for the railroad company for a while. He spent most of his life however, working as a security guard. During his lifetime, Isaac moved away and lived in Syracuse, New York before ultimately returning home for good.
Isaac was a very loving and kind-hearted person who would give his last to a friend in need. He had great love for his family, especially his grandchildren. Due to his wonderful personality and charm, Isaac was often the life of the party. When he was not spending time with family and friends, Isaac could often be found reading the Atlanta Journal Constitution, or cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs.
Isaac was preceded in death by his parents; beloved friend, Kathy Cianfoni; sister, Brenda Pounds; and grandchildren, Kadence Hall, and Jahiem Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Carne Clark; children, Johnny Colquitt, De’Ante Hall, Ebony Hall, Ashland Clark, Keisha Clark, and Gina Cianfoni-Byatt; grandchildren, Kavante, Essence, Hayden, Madison, Rosabella, Messiah, Khamari, and De’Ante Jr.; several step-children, and a host of other relatives and friends.
